In zero way do we benefit from a weaker BIG. Only time that would help is if we were a perennial bubble team trying to make the tourney and work our way out of mediocrity. That's not the state of our program. We need the best conference, to give us the best competition, to prepare us for March...

McBride won conference player of the year the year you're talking about, so....... McBride was 31st in recruiting and Iguodala was 26th in his class. McBride started either as a freshman or sophomore, Iggy didn't make varsity until he was a junior. You can give Iggy his props without taking...

Its about championships right now, not free agency. Ayo would tell you the same thing.

This really doesn't make any sense because Donte is locked in next year at $12 million. So they don't have the option of re-signing him or not since he's already under contract. Randle is on an ok contract, but its not easy to find a big like him with a motor that can pass, shoot, and rebound...

One game doesn't determine an entire season. They also didn't go undefeated, which is why they needed an at large. Wisconsin won more BIG games than us combining the regular season and conference tourney and beat us twice, I don't think anybody claims they had the better season. The original...

Except Akron was the better team all year according to kenpom and the NET. Miami's lack of dominance against terrible teams was exposed in one game in their conference tourney.

Not sure if you intentionally left Michigan St put as an insult, but they're the last 1 seed. I think thats dumb, they have no bigs.

I read they have a 15 day window to enter the transfer portal, starting 5 days after the next coach is hired. If the next coach isn't hired within a certain amount of time, the portal opens but I'm not sure the exact timing of that one.

Defensively, yes you'd be crazy. Offensively, its not close, Coleman wins. If he adds muscle and is physically somewhat imposing on defense by the end of the year, you're not crazy at all.

Their roster isn't that good. They were a bubble team most of the season and lost their 2 best players plus another starter. USC has 8 top 100 players, does that make them better than us? Or UCLA? Michigan has 8 until Aday or Johnson declares. Are you really worried about Xavier Booker...

You're incredibly stubborn to a fault. They lost their top 3 scorers the previous year so its not close to the same. Last year they brought in an elite recruiting class that is all a year older and was waiting their turn. Florida is deep and legit and much more than just 6 players. You're...

Donovan just signed a long extension, does he owe the Bulls a buyout, or do they own his rights if he wants to stay in the NBA? Seems like that would be common practice if the Bulls wanted to protect their organization. College would be a different company, so wouldn't think it would apply to that.

That argument doesnt really work with Florida, but nice try. Fland can't do anything but get better. Haugh's shooting numbers regressed last year and he was still 2nd team AA. They brought in so much guard talent last year who saw limited minutes that they'll be a year older and that much...

Somebody was talking about strawman the other day. Now what YOU just said is a strawman. People don't expect zero competition. Nobody said that, thats the way you implied it. They just are seeing the weak spots and wanting us to build as strong a roster as possible so when we get to March we...

Do we even know what a point guard is in today's day in age? I would say Jeremy Fears type, but not too many like that anymore. The way offenses rely soo much on pick and rolls instead of actual plays, I think a point guard just needs to be a creator and decision maker. Coleman won't be the...
