No I am saying the current roster would beat those on 23/24 that could have stayed for 24/25: Goode, Dain, Harris, Hansberry, Nico, Butler. IMO The 5 transfers are an upgrade to the Illinois roster. And I doubt we are done portaling yet.

won't be able to truly compare former team vs current team - but as of right now, my vote is that the current team beats the former team 9 out of 10 games.

And why was Illinois Loyalty expecting RJDennis? The information shared on this board was extremely positive regarding getting him, similar to the view/explanation of getting a top CG for 24-25. Hope Illinois gets a scoring CG for next year to replace the talented guys who have moved on.

Agree with Gritty - Humrichous is going to be contributor but don't expect him to fill the Domask role from 23-24. IMO he will be better than Goode as a shooter, ball handler and defender.

Couldn't agree more. Hawkins hands are great but having him guard in the low post was painful to watch other bigs score at will.

Get old stay old. Current players weren’t willing to get old with the program. Love the make up of the roster. Good chance for several guys to play multiple years. Still missing a star or multiple stars to replace Shannon/domask but fortunately practice/season doesn’t start till the fall

Coach will be judged based on the results of 24-25 team. Results more like 22-23? or more like 23-24? Orlando joining staff will be the biggest off season acquisition. A good chance 25-26 will be special or elite, but it assumes that these multi year players (both portal and HS recruited)...
