Illinois needs to exert its will and run the game plan. Can't get sped up and put in a chase mode. Come out strong, hit a fair amount of 3s, and pound the glass. Need to find the hot hand and feed it. There are so many weapons on this team and they need to find how to exploit this advantage...

I don't post a lot but follow Illinois Loyalty faithfully and appreciate it immensely. The posters here are always knowledgeable, funny, and sometimes cantankerous. Kudos to Dan for making this all happen here. We are experiencing a momentous event for Illinois basketball and Illinois Loyalty...

I'm in. Entered other Illinois Loyalty brackets I found as well. Couldn't see anywhere to change my name to my username. Was able to use my Loyalty username in the CBS overall bracket challenge.

Michigan is a hand full. We need to hit 3s at a better clip to beat them. Seems our best shooters had trouble getting clean looks tonight. We may well meet them again in the B10G tournament. Need more emphasis on passing and less one on one. We have the guns to beat them when on our game.

Finally read this compleat thread. I think the the thing that bothers me most about this game and the other most recent losses is that the team has been on the cusp of greatness and, then, pees down their legs. These games have been winnable. Should have been won. You can make all the excuses...

Reading all this, there is not much more to add. Wagler had a tough game, but I think it was as much due to MSU's game plan on him than anything going on with him. He was doubled and mugged all night. The other guys all played pretty well but could see fatigue taking a toll on the shooting in...

Northwestern playing in United Center. Up by one over Oklahoma State at half. Place is a ghost town. Think they could have fit everyone into Welsh Ryan. So much for being Chicago's Big Ten team. Really impressed with our turnout the other night.
