Hurley may be a tool but he can coach. I enjoy watching the way they play the game. I don’t think Purdue can hang with them.

When did we start playing help defense?

Its no coincidence that every team we play shoots lights out. Defense is the issue and will be in the tournament too.

Anyone else notice that Ty is close to a violation every time he shoots free throws? He steps forward over the line before the ball hits the rim. I believe they called it on him once in last nights game. I've noticed all year and thought it was an obvious violation.

Out rebounded 24-13. Disappointing effort on defense as well.

Please tell me he can shoot free throws better than 70%.

He shot 38% from the line and attempted 1 3-pointer all year. How many shooters put up numbers like that. He will have a very important roll next year. I just wish it was near the basket where he shines.

Braden Smith 6'0 180lbs handled point for Purdue pretty well. I think it's still a little early to declare he won't play much.

I hope when this all shakes out that we have multiple good shooters. I saw more bricks and air balls last year than I've ever seen in my 50 years of following Illini basketball. I'm hopeful the latest additions will be an improvement, but wonder what their percentages will be against big ten...

I love Illini basketball, but this team drives me crazy. I will continue to root for them, but can’t say I’ll be sad when this season ends. My wife won’t miss all the yelling at the TV either.

Harris played great, but what was he thinking on the last NW shot? Why would he get anywhere near Buie when you're up 4. I noticed Chester ran up to him right after the horn and let him know about it.
