Anyone? Yeah. We did several times early in the season. Have we done it much recently? No.
We did shoot 32 free throws against Indiana, and for as bad as Morgan still killed us in that game he did have to sit for a critical 5 minute stretch in the second half that I would argue was the...
I don't disagree, just digging deep for any optimistic scenario I can find right now. Tonight's game against a pretty shallow Wisconsin roster certainly doesn't inspire much confidence.
It's a home game, but agree that it's not a great matchup. I think they have one of the better starting 5s in the Big Ten. They have decent size, and are skilled and athletic. Their starters will be a tough group to guard. They don't have much depth though, so it'd be nice if we could take...
Valid points. Rutgers also doesn't turn the ball over much. Ranked 27th in the country at just over 11 TOs per game. We have certainly turned some opponents over more than they are accustomed to, but we haven't done it to everyone. The live ball turnovers we create are often our best offense...
I'm pretty sure the clock doesn't start until it hits someone's hands off the rebound. Bottom line is you avoid crimson jerseys and the ball, like you said. I couldn't believe what I was watching as it was happening. You give the refs absolutely no reason to blow the whistle in that scenario...
Agree. I’ll also add that JCL needed very little space to get a shot off and could catch and shoot on the move much better than anyone on this roster. And, even though he wasn’t particularly great at it, he could create off the bounce every once in awhile. I honestly believe he was feeling the...
The fight certainly wasn't there early on. I don't know what we were doing on our first offensive possession. And, in hindsight, that was pretty foretelling about how the night would go. I have been frustrated by our play at times this year, but I was flat out disappointed tonight. We just...
That's what I was thinking too watching their game before ours tonight. They also have one of the best defenses in the country. I just can't see us generating enough good looks to give us a chance to win.
This is exactly how I felt last night after the debacle. But, I feel a little less this way today, and will probably be ready to watch again when Monday night rolls around. Nebraska just lost a tough game in overtime on the road against a decent Penn St. squad. I'm sure they'll be hungry to get...
I think 6 is probably more of a neutral court line. I'm guessing it will open somewhere between 9 and 10, which I like us for. I don't think we'll win, but I do think we find a way to keep the deficit in single digits.
