No, Murray is 6’4, 215 lbs. He’s not small.
There are 562 players in the NBA. Murray is ranked 471st in DRTG. That puts him in the 17% worst defenders in the entire league.
Not taking anything away from TSJ but Murray is absolutely terrible at defense. The T'Wolves were basically targeting him with TSJ or McDaniels (whoever he was guarding) every possession.
I think it was but I also think they may call it a kick ball on McDaniels if they review (at least I think the NBA can make a call that is different than if it was OOB off someone else).
That’s interesting. Wonder if it has to do with our style of hunting matchups vs running offense with off ball screening and pin downs. Think UConn or even 04-05 Illini.
There’s a lot more standing around waiting on a pass while someone dribbles through a series of screens with our offense.
Wagler staying really makes no sense. He could have a sophomore slump (doubtful of course), get injured, etc.
He needs to work some on his explosion as NBA athletes are obviously on another level and I could see him struggling a bit with that until he’s fully developed his body. But I think...
The numbers being thrown around are wild to me. Back in 2010, max contract players in the NBA were signing 5 year $80M deals and the minimum salary deals for udrafted rookies (so basically the only salary that they would be offered) was $398k. And that’s for a season that is over twice as many...
I'd gladly take Blackwell, but if we land him, can Coleman run the point? Blackwell is basically 2 assists and 2 turnovers per game, not what I want out of the lead guard role. We also need to land a true PG as a backup in this situation.
