I think Chase is far better than foreman. He is better equipped to be an every down back than Herbert. The bears could probably get by w herbert but only bc Fields will be their leading rusher. But i think Chase gives the bears something that they don’t currently have on their roster

Who else is it going to be? Herbert is good but not an every down back. He would not be able to hold up over 17 games. Homer is no good. I figure the bears would draft a rb somewhere in the draft.

If chase was selected by the bears in the 4th or 5th rounds, would he be good enough to start?

He could score on 85 percent of guys he’d face in the nba who are for the most part back up centers who are undersized. Nobody is saying kofi deserves starter mins right away. But could kofi have value as a 10-15 min guy off the bench? I think so.

If brook lopez can be an asset on defense, i don’t see why kofi cant do the same with some experience and development

Kofi wouldn’t be matched against these guys, but their backups. Kofi can’t score on the Justin dedmons and the Tristan thompsons of the world? I think he would at a good rate

Yes I agree that the modern nba doesn’t fit kofi’s game unlike 15 years ago. But I think he can provide value on the right team in the right role. We’re talking against backup undersized centers. If he can find a way to contribute defensively (think brook lopez), he can provide value...

I’m not saying that kofi will be a top line starter on a playoff team. I do think he can fill a niche off the bench and punish teams that play under sized centers. He can give them a little scoring punch from the bench as a back up center. That’s great value for an undrafted free agent

60 percent of nba teams play undersized centers. You are telling me kofi can’t score regularly down in the post against the undersized guys?

If I’m the bulls i would take a flyer on either trevion williams or kofi as undrafted free agents.

I think Kofi has proven he can score against 85% of the centers that he is matched up with. They'll need to double him.
