It’s one game…..the first game…..of summer ball…..where the defense can hound you all night…..with endless amounts of fouls! Summer league is just a joke. 10 foul limit on an individual player, one free throw to determine two. KW will adjust accordingly and be fine.

Pulisic era may be over on the national team. Just a flat performance overall from him, outside from their first game. Go back to the drawing board. Just a flat out cr@p performance in a heavily home field advantage environment. What a failure.

USA looks slow and disjointed. Defense is off and looks nervous. Belgium smart to not start some of their usual starters. Gives a different look and saves DeBruyne and Lokaku and others for later in the game. Keeps them fresh. USA looks like a Sampson, Arena, Berthalter type of coached team.

Should have put some sort of money on Cape Verde.

I’ve watched USA soccer since who knows when. Went to a WC game at the Cotton Bowl in ‘94. Watched most if not all USA WC games since then. By far, that was their best performance I have ever seen. Unrelated note, can’t wait to see Zlatan just punch Lalas in the mouth.
