Wilkes will be a stud no doubt. To me, after reading the article, it sounds like his favorite is UCLA but his heart is in Bloomington. Sadly, I still think he goes to IU. Although I agree with the board, sounded very pro UCLA. We need Kiir!!!!

The season + big ten tourny = 25 wins for Illinois. They have depth, skill, senior leadership, etc. No mo excuses. I want at least 2 wins in the tourny too btw. Yes, I'm greedy y'all!!!

JFG isn't going anywhere. He gets two years especially with the class he's bringing in. If we land Kiir, this class is pretty loaded. Wilkes is a massive cherry on top. But not a necessity. And yes, I agree with everything everyone is saying, Wilkes is IU bound. JFG made it interesting though...

Kiir would be a huge get. He can get minutes right away and definitely push black and Finke. This to me is the piece that can cap a top 10 class for JFG. Wilkes would be a huge get obviously, but we desperately need bigs. Kiir is a 4 year player too.

The feeling I get from Wilkes is that UCLA and Xavier are the top tier RIGHT NOW. With IU and Illinois on the outside looking in. I think IU can definitely improve their situation by just being real/ honest with Wilkes. Because he's so familiar with the program they can pop up there and win in...
