My only concern with Blackwelll is if he’ll play defense. Didn’t seem too interested in the games I watched, but I think we would be playing for a championship if we had his shooting in our back court.
Speaking of DGL... he's having a great year for UNLV. Avg almost 20-3-3 on 50% shooting. Albeit on a not very good UNLV team. Glad to see he's doing well though.

Wonder if he was trying to tell Izzo that this is how you discipline a player for poor choices on the court... Put your money where your mouth is.
I think Trent Frazier will go down as one of my all-time favorite Illini players... Not many guys would have stuck with it like he did through the rough early years of BU's career at Illinois. You never had to question if he would bring his "A" game every night.
Watching this video makes me a little sad... Guys who bought into the name on the front of jersey are getting fewer and fewer because of NIL and current transfer rules. It is what it is...
My biggest beef with our pick n roll was that our picks didn't create much separation. Most of the time our ball handler would leave 3 feet between himself and the screener which would allow the defender ample room to slide through and stay in front of KB or KJ, versus how many times Boswell...
I was at the game last night... Two observations.
Reilly could struggle to get his mid-range jump shot off... it's not a quick trigger and he got blocked a couple times. Probably needs more weight and work on creating space. Was impressed with his ability to attack the offensive glass though...
From ESPN article: Hawkins "The goal is to compete for another Big Ten title, which would be my third one in four years here, that's my goal."
Love it that the players believe they officially won the B1G title in 2020.
