I'd venture to say back to the Final 4.

I realize this is an entirely new game with the transfer portal. However, I'm thinking that Andrej Stojakovic stays put at Illinois. I'm just not seeing 4 teams in 4 years but like I said, it's a new game and a lot of the old thinking and accepted ways are in the rearview mirror.

I'd defer to the people more dialed in but I read where he is projected as a late 1st, early 2nd round pick in the 2027 NBA draft.

While VCU's comeback was impressive. I was not impressed by their play throughout the game. The Illini should handle them easily. If I were to venture a guess I'd say a win by at least 12. Go Illini, can't wait until Saturday.

That scenario scares the hell out of me, if favorable matchups fall the Illini's way, I fully expect a Sweet 16 appearance and we'll let the chips fall where they may after that.
