I’m a new user.. this is my first comment. But I love our Illini!!! These kind of games set us might expose some of our weaknesses. But I think they set us up for success down the road. It gives needed experience to new faces.

I would guess everyone that has a tv and watches Illini will learn to. We’ll figure it out though!

You nailed it! He’s finding a new dimension with his game this year. I still think he could have went a little stronger to the hoop tonight at times but defense on him was good and refs weren’t calling any fouls on him.

Kofi draining free throws with consistency makes me smile!! Now if we can just train the refs to actually call fouls against him!

Bardo sure was awfully high on loving on those Hawkeyes for some reason. Both started out just hyping them up big time. Iowa is deserving of some recognition though. Still can’t believe neither are in top 25!

Imagine the margin between scores had we not handed the ball over on a platter all those times. We have to continue to work on ball control. I do feel we’re showing flashes of improvement on this.
