I think it’s more a product of the portal now. Chester brought in good players but the P5 teams have changed to be more about getting older through the portal. Less playing time to develop 3 and 4 star players. Amani was the number 1 player in Maryland. He will be good.

Where are we right now with talent level compared to IU? How did they do last year? Or for Mike Davis, Tom Crean, Kelvin Sampson, Archie Miller Mike Woodson.

Elite 8 to this. We are an utter mess and IU and MI who were both in the dumpster have more momentum than us. WTH. This is on Brad!!! I will hold out hope but you just ran off an Illini favorite and his recruits. I’m sad regardless how this turns out.

I would have liked to see Dain motivated like he was toward the end. He obviously knew he was most likely not coming back and would need a new home. That’s what doesn’t sit well with me. There’s a reason he wasn’t playing more and it had to do with him….not BU as a lot of people have...

Game plan is all I can say. I think the players stuck to the game plan to a fault.

We going to run the Domask one on one the whole game and not move the ball to shoot 3’s when they have a 7 footer blocking our shots. Dang frustrating to watch. I think we still make a run.

He’s not hardly getting touches. Guerrier had him wide open on the last drive and forced it instead.

Great game….great win. Those few of you that have a problem with the game thread….don’t read it. Those are emotional posts in the heat of the game that are how we all deal with what is going on. Most of the time the comments align and we see the same thing/s. It’s March….no letting up now...
