Quick, smooth, confident release from Ethan Brown.

Technically, 5 weeks from today would be before the Iowa game. 🤷‍♂️

Apparently Colorado State's defensive coordinator was relieved of play calling duties mid-game and then just up and left the stadium. So...I guess we don't have the most embarrassing DC situation in the country. Hang the banner.

I thought they should have kicked, but the idea that giving your offense a chance to score more points is somehow quitting is nonsense. Plus we had already missed a short FG earlier in the game, demonstrating once again that "taking the points" isn't really a thing.

It was almost impossible not to get 3 yards on that play with the time he had and the way the rushers were spread out.

Bye

Everyone yell at Lunney for calling a run play on 3rd and 8.

Bailey was there first and the receiver ran into him. They even said so on the broadcast. Sort of a block/charge situation.

It's obviously true the talent deficiency is crippling and limits the team's overall ceiling, but it also should be obvious that the players literally not knowing the call and formation exacerbated the problem and should improve going forward.

Jadan Baugh might be the best pure football player in the country.

Pretty clear intention to throw the ball to people other than Dixon on that drive.

Decent chance this dude has spent more time on a keyboard typing about Illini sports than literally anyone ever has.

I guess he just had to wait his turn since our HOF isn't that old, but I'm surprised Howard Griffith wasn't already in.

Yeah, Duke has won 8 games four years in a row and won the ACC last year. The programs are pretty even right now.

Trimble was the primary target and was open on the 4th and short when Houser chose to force it to a double covered Dixon the endzone.
