UConn and Duke were gonna be hard no matter what but you are severely overrating TT especially if no Toppin. Not sure I would describe that game as hard. They didn't exactly set the world on fire with him and Anderson last year and those two won't be playing in this game.
Anybody judging any of these players off of summer league should settle down. These games are all about chucking shots and sloppy play. These are not the players that the top players will be playing with on a regular basis. I kind of wish it would go away but I know it won't.
or maybe Florida wasn't that good, played in the weak SEC which I said multiple times last season and we would have beaten them had we played them. Or Nebraska beats them being that they beat Vanderbilt which blew Florida the week before. Florida benefitted from playing in a weak conference.
He said maybe there was injury. If it was it doesn’t sound serious but don’t know. I take stuff Goodman said with a huge grain of salt. He sounded like he was guessing or got that info from a very unreliable source.
Yes he was a projected late first round draft pick and could have stayed in the draft but decided to come back which turned out to be the right choice well for Michigan at least and is now a lottery pick.
It absolutely does because right now he isn't a 1st round draft pick and a borderline 2nd round pick where he can improve on that. Stirtz and Yaxel are better off for coming back for their senior year. Being a senior has nothing to do with it. Plenty of seniors get drafted.
And here we go...
I don't get it. What is the rush to get to the NBA as a late 2nd round pick when you can do much better playing another year in college on a contending team? Most likely you won't get any playing time and may be playing in the G league. I could sort of get it if he was a late first rounder but...
