I'm not arrogant in the sense that I think we are gonna come out and dominate this game or think that we are some heavy favorite
I am arrogant that I think we have one of the best coaching staffs in college football. But I'm also worried that a lot of our Assts will start getting looks from...
I think we should all feel good about the fact that we are arguing or discussing on which ranked team is better? These programs have like 8 win floors right now.
Tell us that 10 years ago.
The point I'm making is that people think Indiana has a better offensive line. I don't think that's really a big revelation. Also, that wasn't my opinion. He just didn't have much respect for Illinois OL. I really don't know? I've watched 0 minutes of Illinois football this year.
Another key...
I don't know why some of our fans would think Indiana is going to win this game by several TDs? That seems delusional. One guy I do actually take his opinion seriously is former Indiana WR. He's a pretty smart guy. He studies this stuff extensively and he's more knowledgeable than we are. He...
I disagree. Mendoza is the far more talented QB. He's very mobile and he has tremendous arm strength. CBS latest mock draft chose him as the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft. His ceiling is very high.
I would say Indiana has playoff quality talent as they have many guys projected to be picked...
I've enjoyed being on here as an IU fan. You guys are a pretty good group of people over here. A lot of rationality over here. Bielema has done a great job with Illinois football, no question. I remember when these games were basically to decide who would get 5 wins? I have Indiana winning this...
I disagree. It's pretty even. Alabama and Florida fans want Cignetti and his staff to replace their current coaching staffs. These guys won 11 games with a bunch of JMU guys last year. Bielema, Lunney, and Henry are really good too. The talent is pretty similar. I think Indiana has a little more...
This is legitimately a matchup of two of the best coaching staffs in the Big Ten. There are hardly any 4 star recruits on either team. It legitimately feels like a toss up game. If either program starts landing 10+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recruits a year, then the OSUs and PSUs of the world are in trouble.
The betting public underestimates Illinois. The media and coaches underestimate Indiana. Cignetti is like "Mr Double Digit Win" guy. Indiana could lose this game and will still probably end up with 9-10 wins.
They've upgraded.
Mendoza is a far more talented QB than Rourke was.
The RB Hemby is a lot more explosive. Lee Beebe was a good add out for the year. They have a couple of returning RBs I like.
WR group is pretty much the same group a year older and minus a few slot guys.
OL they added Notre...
