2025-2026 49.7 overall %, 41.4 from three. 20.7 PPG seems pretty good to me.

Vaaks could spend some time defending the four. Biggest rotation player after Tomi and Z. Not worried about offense but Need Mirk’s rebounding.

I agree with most except Tomi would kill Hawk in the post. Rim defense was that teams weakness.

Unfortunately proven great at defense without any offensive game. Wouldn’t trade him for Lincoln who may not develop but has similar athletic ability and therefore a chance to be superior.

Seems like everyone has assumed Morillo would be the eighth guy in the rotation. Listened to a podcast of Illini guys with the opinion that Williams would be in the rotation and Zens getting playing time. Not sure how accurate this opinion is but first variance I’ve heard from Morillo.

Our flexibility last year covered 2-5 with our eight man rotation with Z for the 4-5, Ben 3-4, and Jake at the 2-3. We had only KB and KW for the 1-2. With KB hurt we had no replacement for KW at the 1. Brandon Lee was not a 1 and Petrovic did not fit our system. Think our weakness this year is...

The only depth that matters in my opinion is the replacement of a player that is injured and out for a sustained period. For Tomi-Z, for Dre-Jake, for QC- Jake, for Vaaks-Morillo, for Mirk-Z. All of these would hurt and strategies would be affected but none to the extent of MSU losing Fears...

I saw an article saying Landon Davis was the next best athlete on the team after QC. (Before Williams commitment). I haven’t seen any video on him and he is generally left out of any playing time conversation. Was this reporter on the spiked orangeade or has he been ignored due to his ranking...
