Bregman has the power of a 1970s middle infielder. Maybe the same power as Glenn Beckert. Very frustrating watching his at bats. I wonder if he has some injury that limits his power.

Exactly. Nobody’s throwing 89-90 like Greg Maddox and Tom Glavine anymore.

Bregman jogs to first on a groundout to the shortstop. It’s bobbled but because he dogged it, out by a step. Please bench this guy. I can’t take it anymore. At least Shaw hustles. And his defense is better.

Bergman first at bat 3 pitches, 3 strikes.. zero swings. This guy needs to sit. I’ve seen enough.

Swanny needs to be in the lineup. I just wish he would try to hit to the opposite field more.

I suspect he doesn’t have much longer. If the pain continues another couple of weeks, he may get fired.

But a great clubhouse guy and there is a ton to say for that. Bad attitude on a great hitter can sink a team.

I still like the Hayward signing. He was good ball player. His defense was stellar.

At the game today. I’ve got a good feeling. Brown pitching lights out this season.

The Bears are not moving to Indiana. This is a ploy to get more money out of the taxpayers. And if they are not bluffing, I say let them go to Indiana. Good luck with attendance in that ugly town.
