I don’t care at this point who wins. I’m just so f’ing thankful that Duke got beat. I guess I’d have to pick UConn, but it’d be cool to see NC State at least make it to the Championship game.

I’ve watched/listened to/ read just about every matchup breakdown out there. I’ve gone back and forth between cautious optimism that we’ll win comfortably to manic depression that we’ll be stifled by their defense and lose. Not sure where I’m at right now, so I guess I’ll just try and enjoy this...

There is zero chance that the team will be underestimating ISU. As far as us fans go, this is an Illinois fan board. What do you expect to find here. All of us are expecting a win. Hope that doesn’t offend you.

For those that remember back to 1997, we had a similar dream path only to lose to Chattanooga in the second round after they upset 3 seed Georgia. That one ripped my heart out.
