I'll have what Zuppke's drinking, but I'm not comfortable with 10 wins. I'm rooting for a 10 win season but my money would be on 8 until I know more of the facts. Felt much more confident going into last season when I wished for 10 but expected 9.

I agree with Mr Tibbs. The Illini win both today and Monday. We are not playing like an 8 loss team. We're a different team now. Height is not just an advantage in rebounding. We've used it lately in the proper way to get straight up - with both hands up - right in the face of shooters...

Fall wins are for the fans too. As a fan, I'd love to see a spring game (and I loved the years when they played spring games in Chicago and Springfield) but I'd also rather not tip our hand by giving any clues to our opponents to study. Preserve the fall wins at the expense of our spring...

I just noticed this thread. You're right. I say snowboard cross is like NASCAR on snow on a steep hill. It's been my favorite Olympic sport of all but they reduced the number of racers this year from 6 to 4 and that eliminated most, but not all, of the crashes. It is absolutely fun to watch.

That is an unusual combination. I have a son with an 84" wingspan but he's 6'7". That's a nice feature for a DE. Must be that he's still growing!

It's always more fun to root for the winner so I'm rooting for IU. Plus, they have done an incredible job of raising the respect for the Big Ten and we all benefit from that. And to be honest, IU was a customer of mine and I made good money off them so I'll always appreciate them.
