I could be wrong. But, I believe since there are no athletic scholarships in the IVY league they don’t sign any sort of binding agreement before they enrolll. So, he was fair game.

Bret is strategically not spending for the 2027 recruiting class so that they can keep everyone they want that is currently on the roster. Only so much money, but this is on purpose. Good chance most of the top 50 Players for the 2027 team are on the 2026 team and he doesn’t want to lose them.

Some of these guys may end up being pretty good coaches. No one knew about Bryant Haines or Mike shanahan three years ago. They get by doing more with less. Let’s see how it plays out. Hauck (and staff) may end up being pretty good.
