Coming up from Georgia for next Saturdays game. Heres to hoping a couple Purdue players will regret leaving Illinois after last year via the portal.

Oregon is losing near halftime . Big part is excellent tackling by Boise State. not Oregon having a bad day.

Watched some Montana football today and what stood out was very good tackling defense

If we are not going to target tight ends much, would we be better off with occasional barge formation with another great blocker upfront ? Doesnt seem Bret missed Sutter at tight end last night .

Houser was successful because he was upright all game and had time to make plays. He was well protected by the O line. Zero sacks .

Could he be that tall wide out ?

High hopes this new defense greatly increases turnovers by opponents.

I would be thrilled if this prediction comes true .

So far I have not seen anyone who thinks we can beat Iowa besides me

Im feeling 9 and 3. with this: we will find a way to defeat Iowa and lose 1 unexpectedly

I agree we should pretty much score at will, but if we give up 27 to them we will get buried in later games

I would trade it for a couple beast D linemen !

BK. have it your way ....Illini

Exactly ! The top schools dont recruit anymore, they simply complete transactions with practically unlimited bank accounts . Then we have to listen to their BS : " its all about the kids "

It truely amazes me how many good d linemen go to the big schools and spend 4 years as a practice player , never seeing the field in games. Theres always next year to recruit over them.
