Which is why, absent any inside info at all, I would be really surprised to see him in portal. Family, over two high-profile kids, did not change high schools or AAU clubs. So unless something is really sideways at Minnesota, transfer portal would seem inconsistent with past decisions.

Having a daughter that is in the mix for travel basketball scene, I know that there are a couple of outstanding offers out for girls 2024 players that are on the U17 team. But MIF is not the same thing on women's side, in the state of Illinois, that the mens program is ... at least not today...
