ESPN had a list, at least a few years back now, that had Illinois listed at number 5 overall for producing football talent. Behind Ohio, Florida, Texas and Cali. Side note: we were number 1 for basketball players.

I think a lot of the offensive struggles were that they basically never had the ball until the 3rd quarter. Never had a chance to get any momentum going. That’s already going to be hard enough with this group of wideouts. If Our defense plays like that, we aren’t going to need to score many...

Those are some numbers that definitely paint a picture. I think we can find someone else just as serviceable. I really want us to get a good lead off guy. Maybe we have someone who can emerge as one, I don’t know. Not having one really killed us all year.

The fighting Illini ones are By FAR the best ones we have. Followed by the grey ones and not because one says fighting Illini on it but simply because they don’t have two tone lettering or stupid zig zags or a not so great font style. I think of a schools like the blue bloods who’s jerseys...
