I think it had more to do with online course work potentially not being accepted. I can't imagine we'd release someone from a NLI because another school offered money to a signed recruit.
At some point RW is going to have to stand on his own merit and accomplishments as a HC, and living on past glory of being our DC and playing a role in our players getting drafted is going to lose its luster. Best thing we can do is root against him on the field and kick PU's a$$ when we get...
He did this with a kid from Illinois while at Wisconsin. Kid I’m thinking of, if I remember correctly, was a 6-6 QB. Name escapes me now, but I think he turned out to be a significant contributor in his third and fourth years.
Edit: It was David Edwards. He was QB for Downers Grove North...
Maybe in time they will be our featured backs but not next year. These two are just going to surpass both Love and McCray? I have a hard time believing BB is going to roll with a true freshman and an redshirt freshman. I've been wrong before, but I don't buy this.
I got the game tuned in late. Seemed like Slaughter played more than I remember seeing previously. He got beat several times and had at least one hold. Was someone out?
Which freshmen are you expecting to be playing in the line next year? We will have at least one, maybe two transfers who will be new, but they’re not freshmen. Am I overlooking someone?
Are there any draft boards that have Pearl being selected? If he’s going to be a late round pick, at best, seems he’s be better served coming back and trying to work on his game.
