He's not a freshman heading into his sophomore year. Guy turning 23 in a few months is mostly fully baked, at least in the context of how he will contribute in college. Obviously, he could be a lot better in a role where he just has to shoot, has fresh legs playing 10-15 mins a game, etc.

Definitely get your point. But I/he said they do not want to be at the very top in terms of three point rate. Which "traditional analytics" (if that's a thing) would generally disagree with, given a good three point shot is worth more than many two point shots. Top 20% in the country is not...

Florida Gators Director of Analytics Interview Thought this was interesting and relevant given some of the complaints about how the team has been run -College is different than the pros, talent gaps are much bigger, leads to different strategy than what makes sense in today's NBA (which feels...

More like he ruined the coaches concept of how effective it is to have a wing guy post up. There’s a reason it doesn’t happen often in 2025. If there was no Domask, there’s no chance BH gets a few dozen low effeciency attempts at it this year.

Our best chance to win a title is with shooting IMO. We're never going to field a Kentucky/UNC/Duke style team that wins with A+ athletes and a bunch of lottery picks. But we can recruit a lot of mid tier top 100 guys, hopefully most can shoot, and be in the hunt on the years where a couple play...

To BU’s credit, they did seem to shift the offensive approach towards the end of Feb. But how come we never (rarely) see designed sets or out of bounds plays setting up easy buckets for bigs? See this play from Houston

It’s not 1997 anymore. 4+ star recruits often play right away, particularly because our talent was slim outside of the freshmen. If they don’t they can and should leave. That’s the game. Ignore Morez - Humrichous started over Will Riley for most of the year. Think about how awful that is...

Yes, both sides are at fault. That's the key part, there is blame on our staff. Even non-insiders can see that the current staff fumbled by playing (and we'll ignore recruiting) Ben Humrichous over Morez for 80% of the year. The staff realized this in late Feb (coincidentally we started playing...

    1. BU been phenomenal overall. The program has been leaps and bounds better basically since the day he got here. 2. He's been a great recruiter, in particular relative to where we were prior to him being here. With that said: 1. Whoever it was that decided Humrichous would get the playing time...
