I wonder what the 3 %s are at the SFC compared to other arenas? Some arenas seem to have softer rims than others - maybe our rims are tighter comparatively. I did a brief look, but didn't find those stats, other than going game by game (which would take more time than it's worth for me.)

The Illini have only had 4 players reach 750 3 point attempts in their career (Frazier, Bradford, Brown, Richardson,) so I am unconvinced that it is a usable bar to clear.

For comparison, a 4:19 mile would be a 13.9 MPH pace.

If the B1G owns the rights to this game as claimed, I hope they take a hard line to keep it. Why give up one of the biggest games of the season that keeping would benefit all the B1G teams?

Maybe too hot a take, but I don't think the T'wolves are hopeless without Ant and DiV. Ayo + TSJ can come close to the same production, IMO. This will just be the first time that each of them have the PT to shine (especially TSJ.) Depth might be the bigger problem. I'd love to see 2 Illini show...

On John Blackwell, I wonder if the games played against Illinois is still in his mind. I would think it would be hard to lay that aside, especially since it got kinda heated with Boyd's antics. As a fan, I would hate to see Fears in an Illinois uniform because of this.
