Ironically yes, because they can get away with under-funding their football teams and prioritizing basketball instead in this new post-House settlement environment. Not being a B10/SEC school may end up being a benefit for top basketball programs.
Would definitely be interesting to see how that coaching search would go, too. Would it end up as much of a disaster as UK's did, or would they get their top targets.
We really, really have benefited from having Josh here to guide the athletic dept through this moment in college athletics. Can’t imagine how we would have ended up in an alternate reality with a less competent leader in place.
A lot of the complaints in this thread (especially the early, pre-Wisconsin posts) come from people watching on TV who don't realize how much the broadcast mix dictates the vibe and sound level. The design of SFC naturally funnels noise to the court, not the top ring of the 100s where the TV...
