Going back the last 5 years 20 wins and 9-9 record gets you in. But agree that still possible not to be selected. Need 10 BT wons and 1 BTT tourny win to be certain.

Saw the first game again. Can someone tell me why having DJ and Malcolm in at the same time doesn't work. Everytime I've seen it looks damm good. We went on a 16 lead with Abrams, Hill, DJ, Finke, and Thorne. The floor looked very well spaced, gaps were attacked, and multiple scoring options...

Would love to have Mika in an Illini uniform, but I don't see the NBA players others see. He benefited from ticky tack fouls. Those are no go in the NBA, it is brutal down low at the next level. Don't live in Chicago anymore, so weather probably kept people at home. But probably more the...

This is a game I will re-watch again, sometimes I'm wrong from my initial observations. Taking the emotion out of it makes a difference. 1. It was an entertaining game to watch, we have a balance team of true position players. We have a legit PG, SG, SF, PF, and C. We haven't had this for many...

I thought we looked pretty good with abrams, hill, dj, finke, and thorne. Dj kept probing the baseline, got one basket. We just seemed a little bit more well rounded. Add Black minus Finke and we are better on degense and boards

That sounds like a great plan, especially is we can get Ayo the following year. Epperson strikes me as a player that would do well in college with improvement year over year. Has good instincts and talent, just not physically gifted at this point.

What is the weakness of Smith? As a large PG probably quickess to cover smaller PGs. All players also need tp improve handles, but his seem pretty good. If he goes to Wisconsin he is going to haunt us. He seems to fit their system. I'm surprised he wasn't noticed by staff earlier.

Did we have too many guards when we landed Gill, Bardo, and L Smith in the same class? Do we really want to face Smith wearing a Badger or boilermaker uniform.

How about late recruit Patrick Beverly, Weber got on him late and wanted him bad. Who would of thought that Beverly would of had a longer NBA career than Dee Brown, Frank Williams, and Luther Head. Or McCamey and Brandon Paul.

Mark Smith reminds me of an Andre Miller (Utah, NBA PG) and Demitri McCamey type of PG. I think he is closer to 6'3 than 6'5, but bottom line he has good college size for both PG or SG. In the game against Athloff, he played PG for his team and drove the ball most of the time. Didn't shoot...

Kipper might be so good that it is obvious he gets minutes and from "who" becomes less important. Probably outside of the coaches and players, nobody knows the answer. He passes the eye test both in bb terms and physically. Might push JCL for SG minutes or allow Hill more of a breather. On...

BYU has one very bad lost Utah Valley (#235) and probably only one good win (Colorado #56). From seeing video on them from a couple of weeks I thought they were not the most athletic team. I don't think they are a deep team as well. Need to see what Valpo, Utah Valley, and USC did to beat...
