If you listen to the most recent Sleepers podcast today on Pettigrew (the ep. talking Jake Davis), it's almost pretty hard to imagine him not picking Illinois at the current moment. Now things can change of course and these kids can be all over the place at times, but we have to feel very good...

It still blows my mind that exactly one year ago at this time, no one and I mean NO ONE had a clue at that moment that 365 days later this is where Keaton would be in his life. I'm just so tickled to death to see the path that life has taken Keaton down. It's really awesome!

Yep I agree and it's why you can make a pretty strong argument that Ayo is the GOAT in the program's history.

Heldman was my favorite player from that 1998 team by far....and one of my all time favs too. Loved his toughness and grit, his stellar ball handling and he was a pretty damn good shooter from deep. Wasn't anywhere near a top shelf D1 basketball athlete by any means, but pound for pound he was...

Here's a possible player comparison for QK..... Roger Powell Jr??? 🤔

Thank you for pointing these out, I appreciate it. My apologies if I ruffled any feathers with my wordsa few days ago. My post was more regarding specifically the recruits that are currently in High school right now. I was just expressing excitement for all the recent official and unofficial...

You gotta love the officials we're lining up with these 5 stars. It's all window dressing until we land one I know. But this is really nice to see.

We may truly beat Miznoz once again this year, but they will be no slouch at all. I'm predicting they will be much more improved this coming season. But a good Miznoz team makes for a much more pleasant viewing experience for the Braggin' Rights Game. Lately, quite frankly...it's been kinda of...

Will Riley is going BATSHIT CRAZY tonight!!!!

👏👏👏

Comparing to Ayo is low-balling IMO. Time to crank up the Underwood hyperbole machine by about 300% and compare him to someone like a young Michael Jordan. 😁

Would love to know if Keaton was on any summer NBA mock drafts prior to his freshman season. IIRC I think he was still only showing up on 2nd round mocks early in the season. But I could 100% be totally wrong. I just don't remember. And judging by these preseason mocks up above, it's again...

Did Brad Underwood or someone on the coaching staff like, inappropriately touch Morez during his time here or something? I obviously kid, but it's sounding almost irrational the way Morez describes what his future woulda been at Illinois had he stayed. It almost comes sounding as if he was...

Things can change and if there is a spot open, I think it would be really cool to try and convince TR to perhaps return to the program in a positive, nostalgic role. Seems like a bit of a long shot, but who knows. No matter what, I just wish him the best!

PLEASE don't spoil my dream! 😫 I suppose at 6'6" I'll have to settle for a Roger Powell-like comparison.
