I was in the MI from fall of 84 through the fall of 87. We did a CD/cassette combo or two, but I never got one. If you run across any of those, I would love to get access to it. Bill Olson was a great announcer for them and he's long gone. Andy Isbell is totally fine too, just nice to hear...
Any Marching Illini people on here that can answer why the MI did not play 3 in 1 during halftime at the spring game? Sign of things to come? Seems like the way we "retired" the war chant was just to never play it again.
I was also thinking about asking him whether Illinois could be declared the B1G football champion. I mean, so far BB is winning all the press conferences and doing EVERYTHING right. Let's just skip the games and tailgate. We're undefeated and claim the trophy!
I'm going to be there with some co-workers, and we will have downed some liquid courage by game time. I sort of hope I don't encounter him because I have a few choice words that might just spill out...
Does anyone have any insight as to when we might hear about the NE game? I'm really hoping for a home game-Ireland sounds awesome-but we need the excitement of the new coach at home, not a game 2,000 miles away where we're outnumbered by Nebraska fans.
I'm only suggesting that "first lady of Illini football" is so bassackwards that I would prefer to avoid that title for a coach's wife. I wish the entire state of Illinois wore Illini clothes all the time.
You forgot to eliminate anyone that wears a visor and/or someone whose mother's birthday is roughly the same time as B1G media days. We're getting somewhere by narrowing down the list with these types of restrictions!
