That screen is also directly in your line of sight. With this being on one end, I don't think it will be that big of a deal. It will, however, add to the stadium environment and allow for easier sight of replays!
This is a huge get. We have 3 top-20 kids committed in-state. In May.
Also, for those concerned about the slow start, the defending national champions have 4 commits. Stop getting so hung up on team rankings, especially with the portal being more important in today's game.
Another thing for people to keep in mind: who would have thought, 4 years ago, that Art Sitkowski would have been a stud recruiter for us? We don't know how these people relate to high school kids and high school coaches. I am willing to see how this plays out. Bret knows this is about taking...
I have only ignored one member in the 15+ years I have been on this site. It can assumed who it is based on the recent discussions. It’s pretty glorious to not see that content anymore!
True. And we still have a couple spots where that can happen. This is an interesting way to go about bringing in a new defense. It has the vibes of what Leipold, Kill, and some others had where they had staff continuity across different destinations. That ensures people are on the same page...
We should just play all road games. The home environment was pathetic. It should have been loud throughout that entire thing. You have people responding to the team instead of creating a tough place to play. Just awful.
The problem with Scott is: isn't that basically just doing Aaron Henry 2.0? A great DB coach with no DC experience? There is no reason we can't be poaching someone that is an upgrade over Henry that has experience. We have the money to throw around--it's time to show it.
While the calls were a bit suspicious, Wisconsin literally just had to wait for someone to foul them to go to the line and extend their lead. They blew that game.
Koenning did virtually no recruiting when he was here. While the recruiting wasn't that great during that time, it's a good example of letting a good coach do what he needs to do and leaving the recruiting to others.
We could easily be 8-2 going into the Iowa game. That would hopefully bring out a great crowd in the midst of going into Thanksgiving break. Students have stuck around for games in the past (I'm thinking Rose Bowl year), so hopefully they would do the same there.
I'm starting to suspect that Illinois fans don't know what to do with themselves because the basketball team is in the top 10 and the football team has won 19 games over the last two years. So now it is resulting in people debating really dumb things.
