I'm all for trusting the staff here. How many times have we mentioned the splash recruits for Zook that never played a down, dropped out, got in legal trouble, etc.? Lose somebody now and find a replacement that will actually contribute.

Just a reminder: Ron Zook made $1.5 million as HEAD COACH here in 2011. Just 13 years ago. And now you have coordinators making more than that and position coaches approaching that number. The salaries are out of control.

While moving around happens, and he hasn't dropped a level, that's a lot of different stops for the average assistant if you are building connections and getting paid well.

Assuming the guy from LSU that worked with him at Wisconsin? Much better pedigree than Fenelus and seems to be part of Kelly’s general overhaul of the whole defense rather than anything against him.
