Archie is the best pick - look at where his current player at Dayton are from - Chicago. So he already has a foothold on chicago

Archie - I really believe he will leave Dayton - he's the man we want

Go after his brother - like it's been said before if Archie doesn't take Ncst job he be a very good fit with Illinois - guys he is a really good coach and I think he has out grown Dayton

I agree, he could not recruit. Now we have a coach that can apparently recruit but doesn't have a clue on how to coach. No offense except run and shoot. What makes being an Illinois bb fan so miserable is with Groce there is no lite at the end of the tunnel. He doesn't know how to develops...

Will not make the NIT

Who is Bruth Weber? Dan Müller might be a good choice but we're trying to hold onto some very good recruits and I'm not sure his status is high enough. Kevin Keats might be ok.

Look at the empty seats and/or the ones with visiting fans at the State Farm center

I hope I'm wrong but we'll see in the nba draft. What Hill is doing now, he would of done as a freshman if Groce had played him more. Look at Lucas (a very good point guard) who only got in the starting line-up because of the pressure Groce got from forums like this one.

A good coach is a developer - in the whole time Groce has been there he's not developed one player. Hill is the same player he was as a freshman. I feel very sorry for him, at any other university he would be looking at a nba future!

Bottom line - Groce has to go! As far as getting new coach - please remember money talks. If there is enough money we can get a quality coach. If NC St doesn't get him, my pick is Archie Miller. Whitman will get a good man!
