Wasn’t it bandied about on here that there were certain donors who would step up with whatever $ necessary to bring back Coleman (and/or Marcus) if they want to return - monies separate from the NIL pool? If Coleman becomes inclined to take that offer, wouldn’t it leave a ton of NIL to work...

The duration and (possibly) serious nature of Coleman’s injury makes his production last year all the more impressive, imo.

I say we offer Coleman a player-coach deal to sweeten the pot. Heck, we could also put him on the social media staff, and maybe appoint him as direct liaison to the Big Ten Collegiate Officiating Consortium, as well as chief negotiator on the Domask NCAA waiver team.
