This is ignorant to how IL has built their rosters. You just listed the 3rd, 2nd, 12th, & 48th player. Those are high level players you take if the staff like them for the right $ amount. But there are no more walk-ons and there are limited resources. We're not getting 15 top 100 players...

I think that if he's allowed to stay the Duke coach for another 5 years with the same resources he will definitely win one. The likelihood of him getting a good draw and just out-talenting his opponents is high. He's a better coach than someone like Kevin Ollie, I just wouldn't say he's great...

Scheyer has underperformed with elite talent, so he's due not to with a possibly lesser team? Statistically, sure. But the common factor in underperforming in the easiest environment to succeed in CBB is him.
