We are going to have to agree to disagree. There are coaching and discipline elements missing, that amount to far more than "splitting hairs between going 2-7 and 3-6 in the BT". I agree that competing for a National Championship requires more $, but what's gone wrong this season so far is an...

I do not subscribe to the idea that the Duke and Purdue losses have anything to do with talent discrepancy or lack of NIL buy-in.

Going 3-3 would do the heart some good. Especially with 14 days off afterward to dwell on. ILL gets the W

This is the weather we've been waiting for - well deserved after the 3 heaters we've had so far! The cannon is undoubtedly staying in Champaign 🏟️

I commented the same thing about the band while watching on TV. Did not seem to be a part of the game, never came through the TV audio at all.

Including 2 TD’s (one UAB hail mary, other wide open against Ohio State) I hope they still find a few snaps for him after Platt returns, be he seems to be the likeliest candidate to see a reduction.

Looks like Michigan State/Wisconsin is at 11:30 before us on B1G. From 11A / 2:30P To 11:30A / 3:15P I can get behind the 3:45 gap between games as opposed to 3:30, because how often do they really stay on schedule......but the shift back from an 11:00 start is intriguing 🤷‍♂️

Shocked to see we are this close. Band Day and the kid's families to the rescue! Weather report looks like some AM showers, followed by a spike in heat (and likely humidity).

My speculation from piecing things together that have been said; as early as SIU for Brown, with Platt lagging a week or 2 behind (OSU or Purdue).

Platt coming back will give Houser that 2nd 1A/1B receiver. Brown coming back will help take care of *some* of the shortcomings on D. Last year’s wonderful season included 25-42 Loss at Washington and 10-27 Loss at Wisconsin. While I’m not ignoring the issues, I’m not ready to enter into...

I will be there, proudly backing this team. ILL

LET'S DO THIS! 8.5 hours until kickoff :coffee:

34-31 Illinois. Very well may lose the TOP battle again, but come out victorious. Duke will get into the Endzone on the occasions that UAB settled for 3. We have the last possession of the game, and clock manage it to perfection, ending with a Moczulski FG to win it. 3 Throwing TD's...
