I worked at a KFC for two weeks in high school, until I walked out after getting yelled at for refusing to pick the roaches out of a box of sporks. But man, I sure ate more than my measly salary’s worth of chicken littles (dipped in gravy) for those glorious two weeks.

I was correcting the false narrative that he is Serbian. As two distinct countries and cultures with a history of bitter conflict and resentments, it’s important to make the distinction. Any Croatian would be offended by conflating them. Just saying

I’ve seen a few references to Serbia. FYI, Tomislav is Croatian. They speak Croatian. Beautiful country on the Adriatic. Game of Thrones was filmed there. Serbia is landlocked and they speak Serbian. Serbia and Croatia have been separate countries since Yugoslavia broke up in 1991.
