Did I hear correctly that Illinois is going to lose 30 seniors after the 2020 season?!?

I told my girlfriend if she wants to go to the game she can drop me off at one of the golf courses and pick me up after. Not sitting through another Illinois game until Lovie and Co are gone.

I think Lovie was more sold as a program caretaker than anything else. Bring in respectable coaches, respectable kids, keep the program out of off the field problems that we endured under Beckman. Stop being an embarrassment of a program. He's done that. Similar to what John Fox did in Chicago...

We do have favorable exit terms. The "extension" he signed added 0 new buyout money. Buyout remains the same as it was when the original hire was made.

I mean...Rod has been awful too. Not sure that doesn't anything at all but disrupt the entire program. You're better off just riding it out this year.

Well losing by 20 is really just 1 score short of the spread so that's not too bad. Losing 46-7 at home and 63-0 at home like we did last year are blowouts.

Kind of damned if they do, damned if they don't though. Everyone wants young up and coming guys and complains about hiring retreads. But they hire a bunch of young guys and everyone complains they have no experience. Some balance might be better but it's a tough spot.

I understand that Peters is the QB but it seems like a major missed opportunity to not get IW involved AT ALL over the first 3 games of the season. His athleticism is a major tool that they are just ignoring.

"shaping up to be his strongest recruiting class" doesn't mean much when you're comparing it to only lovie's recruiting classes. how is it shaping up compared to the rest of the b10? (hint: not well, unless your goal is to stay ahead of rutgers).
