I was simply replying directly to your quote that said, “If they get Milan, they should be a top 15 team preseason”. You also said that if they were another team like Nebraska people would have them top 10. And I pointed out that Torvik, which isn’t based on narratives, has them outside the...

Unless Torvik is missing half of their players, I’m not sure they’d currently be a top 10 team. Torvik has them at 35. Nebraska’s #14 btw.

We finished last year at #6 in Torvik. Making the F4 as the 6th best team wasn’t that unlikely: And Torvik’s prediction model for 2027 currently has us at #4, so I think a preseason top 5 ranking in the AP is fairly likely:

Does defense actually equal playing time? If that were true, wouldn’t Ty still be on the team? And how well did KJ and Will play defense?

Torvik has them 34 in his preseason model. Pretty far below Kentucky fan expectations.

I think we’re going to be alright here. — Goodman tweeted those interviews he did with 10 NBA execs. All 10 said Andrej should return to college. — Jeremy Werner is very confident Andrej will return and that usually comes from sources inside the building. — We haven’t been linked to any...

I have a feeling you turned 35 at 15 A 24/32 team playoff has downsides, sure. Bowls become even more meaningless than they already are and maybe even obsolete. That sucks. But, there’s upsides too. 1. Illinois. Yes, that Illinois. Would have made the playoffs two years ago. The level of...

He averaged 7.1 minutes and 2.4 points in the games he played. He registered DNPs in 10 of the 38 games. His total minutes divided by the total games that season comes out to the numbers I mentioned.

Guys, of course Michigan had a better season than we had last year. No one’s disputing that. The question is: if we kept Morez and didn’t get Mirk, would our season have been any different? Would we have beat UConn in the F4 by simply replacing Mirk with Morez? Likely not. Which means...

Except Justin Harmon wasn’t the 9th man on that team, he was the 7th. Freshman DGL was 9th. He averaged 5.2 minutes/game, 1.7 points (mostly in garbage time), and shot 34% from the field / 22% from 3.

So if you exclude garbage time minutes, the 9th guy can expect to play 3-5 minutes per game. Pretty sure one of the freshman can fill that role.
