I thought she was just training in Champaign for the Pan Am games and he came with her while he was kicked out of the NBA. Didn’t think she actually competed for Illinois but could be wrong.

Ahhh yes Valdir Manuel! He was intriguing but every time I watched Patrick school highlights I found myself saying “Ok but who is THAT kid?!?”

Not saying teams don’t exaggerate height but fwiw those NBA measurements are most definitely w/o shoes. They usually measure both but for some reason last year NBA only listed the without on their chart.
