The no call on Kofi’s shot at 2:05 that led to the 3-1 break was simply atrocious. Obviously we had our chances after that to come back, but that was what I felt sealed the game.
Kofi being such a dominating presence doesn’t mean that fouls suddenly aren’t fouls.
He came in and did exactly what we needed him to do - a spark and quick points.
I think he’ll be most effective in short bursts, especially with his defense. He should be ready to go out and do the same in the 2nd and get us this W!
I’m obviously no insider, so I can’t pretend to know exactly what’s going on behind the scenes, but my guess is a combination of:
1. Lack of a true leader/pecking order - I think some of the older guys are deferring too much to the young stars. Too much standing around waiting for Kofi and Belo...
