    UConn 71, Illinois 62 Postgame

Like everyone else, I'm gutted at the loss. But it was an amazing postseason, and it showed all the Brad doubters(Myself included) just how high our ceiling with him. I still believe we have a good shot at winning it all one day with Coach Underwood.

It's not a certainty that we win this game at all. Far from it. But let's say that we do. Let's say that we pull it off and beat UConn. Would you rather face Michigan or Arizona for the title? Personally, I'd take Arizona in a heartbeat. Michigan is the only team all year that made us look...

I'm the farthest thing from a scUM fan there is. But the fact that the SEC had 10 teams this year and couldn't get a single one of them into the FF is nothing short of hilarious.

This is officially the best year since 2005...let's make it a BETTER YEAR BY WINNING IT ALL.

I can't believe it, man. This might be the best team we've had since the last title appearance. ILLINOIIS TO THE CHIP.

We could have 0 SEC teams in the tournament by Saturday. "It just means more"

Just rename MM to the B1G Tournament 2.0. LOL. 1st trip to the Sweet Sixteen for Iowa since 1999. None of the kids on this roster were even born, yet. Man, I'd give anything to see that smug prick Boyd's face as he watches many of Wisconsin's rivals go deep into MM.

Also, this is apparently the 1st year that NE has even won an MM game, let alone gotten into the Sweet Sixteen. That doesn't sound real to me, especially when they were founded in the 1800s, but it just means that this is a historic year for Huskers fans.

Pregame: Illinois vs Houston, Thursday, March 26th, 9:05pm CT, TBS

Aside from Michigan, this might be the toughest game all year. Gotta come out guns blazing. Unlike Penn and VCU, Houston will easily take advantage if we have a shaky 1st half. And the Cougars having de-facto HCA certainly won't help matters. But nothing is impossible. We're back in the Sweet...

    Illinois 76, VCU 55 Postgame

Yet again, they took care of business, even after yet another shaky 1st half. Another great win.

Gotta tip the cap to the Huskers. They are darn great. I don't really hate them, outside of when we face them, and I'll NEVER root for a SEC team.

Even though we should win pretty handily on-paper, I'm not gonna overlook VCU, especially after they upset UNC. I know I said that for Penn as well, but that goes for every opponent in MM. Anything can happen. But again, we should easily win this if we repeat our performance from this game...

    Illinois 105, Penn 70 Postgame

1st half was pretty shaky, but the second half was what we all wanted to see. Took care of business against a far inferior on-paper opponent. Near-perfect game in every facet.
