Sox collapse. Bears today. Double whammy of suck this weekend. Pathetic effort on every level today. The revenge-minded Packers were out for blood and the Bears couldn't quite match that intensity. Flush it. On to the next one. That's all you can do.

Sucks how it ended but it's hard for me to get too upset over a team that was given a 1.1% chance to make the postseason on Opening Day. Very flawed team that took advantage of a weak American League, and unfortunately those flaws were exposed down the stretch.

Couldn't quite get it done today. Sox hitters struck out 19 times and Sox pitchers walked 10 Guardians batters. Perhaps the young Sox got a little too amped from their own home crowd.

Take a bow, Sean Burke. I would have loved to see him finish the 8th. Guards were squaring Taylor up this time but gave up only an RBI triple and some hard outs. Time to end this at home in front of the Southside faithful.

Bears win. Sox win. 2 out of 3 still makes for a nice weekend.

Excellent job by the Sox pitching staff. Grant Taylor was practically toying with the Guardians hitters.

Don't let the final garbage time score fool you. Purdue took it to us on both sides of the ball. Can't say I hold any hope of sneaking into any bowl game. I...just don't see it.
