I couldn't figure out how to start a new post - so I'm attempting to add this here. Does anyone on here happen to know if Lovie drives a Maroon Jeep Cherokee with "LUV" as the license plate? The reason I ask is because I'm in Springfield, IL and was going to Walmart on Tuesday when I saw that...
So, Gritty, during last football season you were prepared to fire Lovie. This appears to be you changing your tone and now thinking Lovie CAN be the guy. No?
I know your overarching theme was you wished IL success, just didn’t believe Lovie could be the leader to get them there...
I listened to this song for the first time in years... only to be saddened that while Ludacris was born in Champaign - he didn’t shout out the 217 at all in his song about area codes :-(
In 2009 - Illinois dropped 2 games where they scored under 40... they lost at home to Penn State 38-33 in the worst game I have ever attended. They also lost 59-36 at Minnesota... careful who we throw stones at - we've been there too (maybe not 24 there - but what's the difference between 24...

I worry about travel to Minn. if they are flying, will flights be grounded? We’ve seen some Chicago flights cancelled this week already ... but if they bus it - they’ll most likely play, IMO
I’m a big fan of Patterson. I’d take Whitney (obviously) and Brown (l don’t think Kofi is going anywhere, but this would solidify it) before him and that’s it.
Nothing from Bob A yet ... but I’m surprised Lovie is giving JT this many chances ... he didn’t give McCray or the other WR decommit even a second chance
I’m over this saga :-(
Let me also add, the UM coach tweets seem to indicate he gone.
I guess my main point was when Keene was recruited - he picked Illinois over duke, but Illinois was limited to what - 2 scholarships a season and we didn’t get to recruit off campus or do any official visits paid by the school for a few seasons. I was thinking team, not individual.
That said I...
