I seriously doubt they take leaps forward. I look for Michigan's frontcourt to be a level or two lower this year. Especially considering the gaurds and wings they have returning. They are going to want their time in the spotlight.

True but it takes more than talent, otherwise the last twenty national champions would have been Duke, UNC, Kentucky or Kansas.

I don't think its as much about who the 9th man is as I think that we need another 4/5 that would be serviceable in an injury, foul trouble situation. I think we are thin in those positions. We have plenty of gaurds and wings.

I think we need as good a 9th man as we can get because we are more than likely going to have to deal with illness or injuries. Don't want to be in the same situation as we were this year when we had multiple players down and Brad felt he only had seven players that were usable.

If I were Ayo or TSJ either one I would be looking to play somewhere else than Minnesota next year. Next year once the starters get back Ayo is likely to be done the same way as he was by the Bulls and TSJ has been mostly buried on the bench his whole time there.

I think if someone is putting the money up we should be spending it and find another big portal transfer who is more concerned about being on a winning team than personal goals. Assuming they are the right fit.

We did need another gaurd when they signed Petro. We were just lucky that Wagler turned out to be that guy when Petro turned out to be a fail. Nobody forsaw Wagler becoming an all American and lottery pick just like nobody predicted what was going to happen with Pods.
