I think we have a good chance of being very similar to last year in the backcourt with Vaaks being our primary ball handler and initiator of the offense with Coleman as the 2. On the defensive side of it Coleman on the ball and Vaaks on the 2 much like how Brad used Wagler and Boswell.

In this particular situation the good player sitting on the bench with three fouls was also a poor free throw shooter. Thats is mainly why he stayed on the bench in those situations.

It wasn't just about the fouls though. Right when it appeared that he was really coming into his own and getting a little better on his fouling issue he got hurt basically killing his momentum.

Thanks for the info. I was just going on that they were both not top 100 rated yet won state titles. I know there will never be another keaton Wagler in my lifetime. Thats like expecting to hit the powerball twice.

I didn't say he was going to be another Wagler. Just pointing out there was some similarities to their background. Ease off on the attack already. Some people on here are just looking for something to jump on.

Coleman and Zens both have that ability to lead their teams to championships. While Coleman is expected to do some big things for us Zens has that underrated Wagler possibility about him.

I seriously doubt they take leaps forward. I look for Michigan's frontcourt to be a level or two lower this year. Especially considering the gaurds and wings they have returning. They are going to want their time in the spotlight.

True but it takes more than talent, otherwise the last twenty national champions would have been Duke, UNC, Kentucky or Kansas.

Kinda like Scottie Pippins success while playing along with Jordan. After Jordan retired they found out Pippin was a complimentary piece and not the guy to build your team around.

That's pretty crazy on your part man to say we are not a top 5 team starting out with everyone we have coming back from a final 4 team along with a very good freshman class coming in. I do agree we could use some more depth at the 4/5.

I don't think its as much about who the 9th man is as I think that we need another 4/5 that would be serviceable in an injury, foul trouble situation. I think we are thin in those positions. We have plenty of gaurds and wings.

We also can't rule out that some of these young men are not interested in going to school anymore. Especially when they have had 2 or 3 years to get the college experience. They may be willing to take less if its guaranteed.

I didn't say we need to get a 4star. Just saying we need another quality reserve. You an keep your mansplaining to yourself!
