I don't view Onyenso as a monster add. I know that the NBA scouts see intrigue there. However, he was a Sophomore 8th Man/defensive specialist on a team that wasn't better than last year's Illini. He's a take, but I'm not about to run through the streets on that one.

I feel like Illinois always get the shortend of the stick on these NCAA rulings, so I'm sure it'll be not great.

Last season we had 11 scholarship players on the roster, plus a 12th that redshirted in order to preserve eligibility for his future school. And a scholarship that was kept open for no reason. Looks like it may be a similar story this year unless we roll in 8 new transfers on next year's team...
