I mean Bryce Underwood basically did say this - he was asked once about going to Michigan and gave an awkward look implying that they don't develop QBs. Then picked it because they gave the biggest bag. But I guess it wasn't *that* outright, to your point.

I guess others have mentioned this, and I haven't included him in the equation - certainly an oversight! Haven't heard a ton about him before this portal season so I didn't have much idea of his fit here, especially without being a good defender.

Not too surprised by this - I had heard several times that the NIL era will be kind to Texas Tech, and so far it's starting out that way given what they did in football this year as well as basketball (had Toppin stayed healthy.......). They must have some wealthy donors.

Highly unpopular opinion, but I do hope they win it if the Beloved doesn't. I use the term "hope" very loosely, as my interest becomes nearly nil if we get eliminated. I don't have the same hatred for Michigan basketball that I do for Michigan football. The conference NEEDS a natty to quiet...

He really is not a whiner on the sidelines - I respect that about Sampson. Several times they panned to him and he was talking to his players about the fouls, not in the refs faces.

Most years? Don't put them in, the metrics aren't supporting it. This year? The bubble is the weakest I've ever seen. Put them in over another terrible P4 team.
