I think we avoid the letdown since only two of our players played well enough to be in danger of a letdown. And those two are old enough to not fall for the letdown--at least from the sound of their postgame interviews. The rest of the team should still be hungry to improve and contribute.
In interviews, Harris has said he has been working hard on improving his shot since last Spring. I still don't want him taking almost a fifth of the team's shot attempts.
My guess is Coach Bielema was analyst/assistant under Bill Belichick after Arkansas and learned a ton that he references today. Here's Jim Leonhard's chance to do the same until the right opportunity opens up.
Love this. So many of our wins under Coach Underwood could be attributed to not panicking and staying composed when we're down or after a bad loss. Game experience, age, and experience in Coach's system is going to win us several games that we would have lost last year.

Whitman should have enough evidence to make the call now about keeping Groce, and should do so to help sway recruits. Assuming Groce is staying, a resounding endorsement (without a contract extension) could stop other programs from spreading FUD. And Whitman, could always change his story next...
Teams with our current record this late in the season, usually seem defeated. But for a player to win his first award this late in the season, tells me that coach still has them bought into learning and growing despite the record. (i.e. he hasn't lost the locker room).
