There is without question a profile that the staff wants in their recruits. The Wagler article by CJ Moore in The Athletic talked about that. Positional size, high basketball IQ, and shooting ability are big parts of that.
I don’t disagree with this, and clearly you can’t argue too much with the results. That being said. I will still contend this type of wrinkle would be a good way to reduce the stagnation issues that did pop up in games last season (like in both UConn games).

Hakeem/Akeem is criminally underrated. Great player at both ends of the floor, but he was so smooth on the court and unassuming off of it. Just made things look effortless.
