A great possession ending with a Miller three, put us up 61 -40. Crisp, multiple passes brought back memories of another guard heavy Illini team. We are hard to beat when we have multiple players having a decent scoring outing.

Hawkins brought a lot of energy, all three frosh played well. This is a great class. Curbelo, the handles, oh my goodness.

Might be Kofi's best all around game so far. He is showing everybody the power moves with new finesse finishes, hitting his free throws, volleyball type blocks. (Oh man) Can we keep him three years?

It was partly coaching as well. Kofi not getting the ball for 8 plus minutes at the end is something a coach can correct. However, it all gets back to not currently having a good third scoring option.

Nope. This one is telling. Opposing coaches will set up to limit Ayo and limit Kofi. It will work until we find one or several other reliable scoring options.

Giorgi was very strong today, hit the big three, great high-low game, a great effort. I always find his success very satisfying.

I guarantee that coach, and his teammates are telling Miller to keep shooting. And he will, shooters shoot.
